Most recently, ORE recognized the need for a customizable switch panel system which would allow vehicle operators to consolidate their accessory switches into one compact and versatile panel. With the anticipated impact this new product line would have in the marketplace, it seemed fitting for this exciting new venture to have its own branding. Thus, Switch-Pros was introduced.
The Switch-Pros brand is committed to incorporating the latest technology into its products. Watch us grow, as we add other new products intended for the tech savvy four-wheeler.

Backstory
Robert Muertter, our founder, President, and lead engineer, brings over 30 years of semiconductor industry experience and a passion for off-roading. celebrating a decade of switch-pros
1999
Robert and Laura Muertter established Off Road Engineering LLC, focusing on throttle control systems for vehicles. During this time, Robert continued working his day job while Laura managed the business and production took place on nights and weekends.
March 2014
Drawing from his industry expertise and off-road hobby, Robert recognized the potential for advanced technology in automotive power distribution. Working in their garage, Robert and Laura set an ambitious goal to present a new product at SEMA 2014, dedicating nights and weekends to engineering and brand-building, respectively. This was the start of Switch-Pros®.
The SP8100 system was completed and entered into SEMA’s New Product Showcase. To their surprise, the SP8100 won Best New Product in the Interior Accessory category, a milestone that propelled the Switch-Pros® brand.
December 2014 – March 2015
Switch-Pros® signed its first lease for a 1,400 sq. ft. facility and acquired a Haas VF1 machine. Robert, Laura, their daughters, and a small team worked diligently to meet increasing demand, while Robert continued in his semiconductor role.
2017
Recognizing the need for innovation, Robert designed an updated version of the SP8100, the SP9100, which debuted at SEMA 2017. Shortly after, Laura’s surgery gave Robert time to complete the new system, and in a leap of faith, he left his semiconductor position to focus fully on Switch-Pros®. The SP9100 went on to win the Best New Product award at SEMA, marking another major achievement for the brand.
The family expanded their commitment, with their older daughter working part-time during university, and their younger daughter joining after school.
2019
The RCR-Force®12, a larger format switch panel system, launched at SEMA 2019 and received three global media awards, further establishing Switch-Pros®’ reputation for innovation.
November 2021
Switch-Pros® moved into a significantly larger, 6,700 sq. ft. facility, enabling new investments in machinery and automation to support growth.
2023 – 2024
Robert developed the Command-Touch® CT4 system, which was launched at the 2024 Sand Sports Super Show.
Today
Switch-Pros® remains a privately owned, family-oriented business led by Robert and Laura Muertter, with both daughters supporting the enterprise. After a decade of innovation and growth, the company is excited for what the future holds.

Warranty
Seller only extends this Limited Warranty to the Buyer for “Qualifying Products“, which shall mean a product that is: (a) manufactured by Seller, and (b) sold directly by Seller or an authorized agent of Seller. This Limited Warranty does not cover products manufactured by third parties but otherwise sold by Seller on its website or through an authorized agent of Seller.
To qualify for the Limited Warranty, in the event that a Qualifying Product should have a defect in material or workmanship, then Buyer must notify Seller of such defect before the expiration of the two-year Warranty Period.
